If you choose to pay via our web site using PayPal, please be assured that StrayGoat Copywriting does not record or store your payment details. All payment information is only stored by PayPal.

The only information kept by StrayGoat Copywriting is the emails you send to us and copies of the work produced for you.
 
Terms & Conditions

Before you accept a quote from StrayGoat Copywriting, please read the following terms and conditions:

1. StrayGoat Copywriting will produce copy to meet the requirements of your brief. The quoted price is for two drafts - a first draft and then a second draft based on your feedback. If further amendments are required, an additional fee may be charged (depending on the amount of work involved).

2. If you change your brief mid-project, additional fees may be charged.

3. When your payment has cleared, you own the copy. You can use it in as much promotional material as you choose. For example, if you hire StrayGoat Copywriting to produce content for your web site, you can choose to use the same copy for a brochure if you so wish.

4. The copy produced by StrayGoat Copywriting is original and not based on content from other sources. However, it is your responsibility to ensure the copy does not infringe upon existing copyrights.

5. During the project, StrayGoat Copywriting may need to contact you for information. All questions will be asked via email so that there is a permanent record of your answers for reference. For this reason, you need to be available to reply to StrayGoat Copywriting emails. StrayGoat Copywriting cannot be held responsible for missing a deadline if you have not responded to requests for information. All requests will be sent from This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so please ensure that this email address is added to your contacts as occassionally our emails get added to junk/spam email folders.

6. Due to a series of non-paying clients, StrayGoat Copywriting now requires 50% payment up front. (This up front fee may be waived for long term, trusted clients).

7. Payment is due, in full, within 30 days of invoice. This is in-keeping with the default amount of payment notice used in courts. If you require a longer time-span for payment, this may be arranged but only prior to the start of your project. Failure to pay may result in legal proceedings, with costs and interest added to the amount owed.

8. We accept payment via cheque, BACS and credit and debit card via PayPal. If you intend to pay via PayPal, you must inform StrayGoat Copywriting prior to invoice as an additonal charge of 3.5% will be added to your bill (due to PayPal charges).

9. Asking StrayGoat Copywriting to proceed with the project is regarded as your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
